What support is available for parents and carers to keep their children safe online?
- Internet matters – helping parents and carers keep their children safe online: expert support and practical tips to help children benefit from connected technology and the internet safely and smartly
- London Grid for Learning – for support for parents and carers to keep their children safe online
- Net-aware – support for parents and careers from the NSPCC including guides to social networks, apps and games
- Parent info – help and advice for families in a digital world. Parent Info is a collaboration between Parent Zone and NCA-CEOP, providing support and guidance for parents from leading experts and organisations
- Thinkuknow – for advice from the National Crime Agency to stay safe online. Thinkuknow is the education programme from NCA-CEOP, a UK organisation which protects children both online and offline
- UK Safer Internet Centre – tips, advice, guides and resources for parents and carers to help keep your child safe online
How can parents and carers, or children, raise any concerns about content they see online?
Concerns can be reported to the Academy using our safeguarding email address: [email protected] (monitored between 8am-4pm Monday to Friday)
You can also use:
- Childline – for general support
- UK Safer Internet Centre – to report and remove harmful online content
- CEOP – for advice on making a report about online abuse
