Tuesday Afternoon Independent Curriculum

This year, there will be an earlier finish at 13:50pm every other Tuesday for all students, starting from Tuesday 12th September 2023.

This is to accommodate a carefully considered enhanced staff training programme in place next academic year to support school improvement. The time has been found for this by slightly changing the curriculum schedule so that no core lesson time has been taken away. Students will be provided with one hour’s worth of remote learning to complete independently at home on these dates, rather than on site.

A full list of Tuesday dates when students will leave school at 13:50 instead of 14:50 is shown below together with the key themes that students will be studying through their independent learning.
