Extra curricular ativities

There will be a wide range of enrichment activities and extended services and the excellent Learning Resources Centre will be open before and after the Academy Day so that students can make the most of their opportunities to study and learn. When we move into our new building, St Anne’s Academy will offer up to four hours or more of enrichment activity.

Sports and Clubs

There is a good mix of clubs for students to join covering the arts and crafts, sport, cooking and performance. Great emphasis is placed on sport as part of a culture of individual and team achievement. 

Sport activities

Winter 

Netball, Football, Rugby, Dance, Gymnastics and Cross country. 

Summer  

Rounders, Cricket, Athletics and Softball.

Club activities

We have many other areas where students can demonstrate their talents and achieve excellence including: 

Band school, Drama, School newspaper editorial group, Design and Arts schools, Mini Enterprise.
 
We also intend to offer students the opportunity to study for additional GCSE and Advanced subjects.
