The key to Exams

We are proud of our reputation of ensuring that every child who comes to St Anne’s Academy leaves with qualifications. We aim to ensure that 100% of our students leave with at least 1 GCSE qualification and many more achieve 5 or more A* - Cs. We strive to ensure that, whatever the ability;  each student will achieve their full potential. To ensure exam success students are offered:

Super Learning Days – blocks of time for coursework/portfolio based subjects

One to One Tuition – to overcome barriers to learning
 
Boot Camp Sessions – blocks of time to study key topics against assessment criteria
 
Curry Nights – two hours studying followed by a top quality meal
 
Revision timetable – organised revision programme to suit all students curriculum
 
Revision techniques – how to study session for exam students

Resources – students are given good revision books, CD-ROMs and useful websites
