Forthcoming Events:
9 July 12 - Students will be going to Taizé in eastern France for 10 days in order to “Seek communion with God in prayer, singing, silence and reflection”.
Taizé is an international and ecumenical monastic community founded in 1940 and located in Burgundy in south eastern France. In the 1960s the Community began to welcome young adults for international meetings every week. today the Community welcomes people from 25 countries; about 80,000 young people from all over the world participate in these weekly meetings every year. It will be an outstanding opportunity for some of our young people to experience the aims of the Taizé community which are “to live in communion with God through prayer and to be a leaven of peace and trust in the midst of the human family.”
